John started in the insurance business with Farmers Insurance working out of an upstairs bedroom. His agency was in the top 1% of agencies across the country, and he won numerous awards. John and his wife Chris started an independent agency enabling them to offer more choices of coverage and opening up more opportunity to serve the community. John has shared his experience by being a mentor, given talks, taught classes, sales and business practices. He currently sits on several advisory boards, including some charity boards.
John is happily married, has three grown daughters, and is a grandfather. He also loves to travel, active in church events, community events, and is an avid reader.
